Box Bead Installation – Refurb

HOW TO INSTALL: McCOY BOX BEAD FOR REFURB WORKS

Prepare the area – remove loose bits & chisle back to the strong render coat

Pass box bead over the switch cover to make ready for application

around the backing box and prepared area

by setting it against the wet wall to cure

Skim the plaster flush against the ridge of the box bead. Remove any excess plaster that may have entered the opening when the plaster is still wet

Once the multi-finish is dry, give the area a rub down with sandpaper

and finish by reattatching the electrical switch covers

Print them off for site reference
