The kicker brackets have reduced our labour costs by around 25%+ because the time usage is considerably less and less skilled labour can be used compared with the more traditional methods (strutting& propping / non-integral kickers) – e.g. steel fixers can do most of the work.

The efficiency gained from the usage of the kickers has also had a very positive effect on project schedules and costs.

With traditional methods for forming a kicker, small cuts of timber and nails are required, producing material wastage and making site housekeeping more difficult and time consuming. For the McCoy kicker bracket, only full lengths of timber are required which are reusable, no wastage and a simple clean operation.
