Box Bead Installation – Rough Coat

HOW TO INSTALL: McCOY BOX BEAD – ROUGH COAT

1 - prepare the area

and place all the wires into the backing box. Align the box bead. Dab multi-finish around the box bead and then set it against the wet wall.

2 - allow the box bead to cure in the wet coat

3 - skim the plaster

Skim the plaster flush to the ridge of the box beads

4 - remove excess plaster

Remove any excess plaster that may have entered the opening when it is still wet, leave to cure

5 - decorate

Once dry, commence decorating on the SMOOTH, CLAEN CUT FINISH

6 - attach covers

Finish by second fix and attaching electrical switch covers
